Welcome to OutfitMakerz.com. We take data privacy very seriously. Because our virtual stylist app operates directly on your device, we have designed our platform to process as much styling analysis as possible client-side. You can use the style quiz itself without creating an account. However, an optional user account (Sign In / Sign Up) and a separate email newsletter are also available.
2. Account Registration
When you create an account on OutfitMakerz.com (via Sign In / Sign Up), we collect information such as your name, email address, and password. This information is collected solely to enable saving your quiz results, body shape calculations, color palettes, and style history across visits. Your account data is retained for as long as your account remains active. You can request account and data deletion at any time by contacting us at makerzoutfit@gmail.com.
3. Email Newsletter
When you submit your email address via the "JOIN SHOPPING COMMUNITY" box on our website, your email is used to send styling tips, updates, and discount codes. This newsletter is a separate opt-in from account creation, and you can unsubscribe at any time via the link provided in every email.
4. Data Processing & Storage
All inputs from the style quiz are stored temporarily in your local web browser session (`localStorage`) so that you do not lose your quiz progress when you refresh or close the page. However, account profile data and newsletter email records are stored on our servers (and via Firebase authentication services) to manage your account and deliver communications.
5. Cookies & Tracking
We do not deploy marketing or targeting cookies on our platform. The local storage is solely used to preserve the theme preference (light vs. dark mode), active language settings, and current styling wizard configurations.
6. Security
We implement standard administrative, technical, and physical security measures, including HTTPS encryption protocols, to protect your data during transmission and storage. While basic style analysis remains accessible without registration, user accounts collect email addresses and authentication credentials, which are classified as personally identifiable information (PII). This PII is collected strictly to support account management, save personal wardrobe configurations, and maintain user preferences across active sessions. We maintain appropriate safeguards to prevent unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure of collected personal information, and we do not sell or share your PII with third-party advertisers.
